Mark Williams Joins Blue Pillar as Vice President of Sales

Accomplished sales leader and Internet of Things (IoT) veteran tapped to drive exponential growth at award-winning Energy Network of Things™ market leader

FREDERICK, Md., May 17, 2016 – Blue Pillar, Inc., provider of the world’s first self-configurable Energy Network of Things™ platform that connects and controls distributed energy assets, announced this week that Mark Williams has joined the company’s executive management team to lead its sales efforts. In this role, Mr. Williams will report to Blue Pillar’s CEO Tom Willie and be responsible for driving the field and inside sales organizations, channel programs and “voice of the customer” across all departments to rapidly expand Blue Pillar’s customer base.

Mr. Williams has spent the past 15 years leading sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue and high growth in both early stage companies as well as large well established enterprise technology providers. Before joining Blue Pillar, he was Vice President of North American Sales at ThingWorx, a PTC business, and was responsible for increasing market share, new client acquisition and client product expansion. Before joining the ThingWorx business unit, Mr. Williams was PTC’s Sector Vice President of Sales for Mid-Market and Regional Vice President of Sales for PTC’s Integrity business unit. While at PTC, his team was responsible for closing the largest deal in Mid-Market history as well as exponentially increasing overall revenue and deal size.
